TThe Old Earlehurst Estate is an antique log homes .
In the Spring of 1997 - A real architectural fete, or perhaps the "eighth wonder", The Logge Cabbin Inn was opened as a bed and breakfast house.
The Inn was constructed from materials salvaged from seven original log homes, dating back to 1796. Originally occupied by four different families.
Words cannot adequately describe or pictures portray the uniqueness and character of this antique log structure. It is a classic example of the craftsmanship of the early pioneers, who came here as Irish and German immigrants and settled in this valley.
The Logge Cabbin Inn is believed to be the largest antique log reconstruction on the East Coast. Hopefully, it will stand for many years as our legacy to the early settlers who forged their way over the rugged mountainous terrain to this pristine valley, with it's clean air and mountain springs, magnificent sunsets, and starlit skies.
The Logge Cabbin Inn (Old Earlehurst Bed & Breakfast) has had several articles written for the local newspapers. |
